Quick Bourjois Service! Review!

Hi lovelies!

Okay, so everytime I actually feel like changing my nail paint, its either too late at night or its lunch time! And these nail paints take like forever to dry!
 So sometimes I really wish like I could change that, but the Fact is, I cant!
And to top the drying time, all that pain of removing your polish, finding cotton, discovering that your acetone was over, spoiling your perfectly painted nail to remove another nail's paint just adds up to my boredom!
Result, I don't change my nail paint for days together!  But recently (I think Fairy Godmother listed to me) and I saw this beauty on my cousin's dressing table- Bourjois Magic Nail Polish Remover. Bliss.
Next thing I do, go search for it in India (She got it from Paris)

PRODUCT: Bourjois Majic Nail Polish Remover

Price in India: INR 800

What is it? : It is an acetone free nail paint remover. No cotton needed! It comes in a small tub with sponge where you dip your finger, twist it, and you are done!The one I have is Red fruit and Vanilla and it smells like bliss.

MY EXPERIENCE: I love,LOVE nail paints! So the entire concept of this product is absolutely super.Bourjois claims 1 second removal per nail which is pretty much true( except Glitter)
The main avantage is that it is acetone free and has Almond oil! You can actually feel the oil on your fingers when you are done twisting( Which is not a bad thing, it's very mild,yet effective!) I love the mild fragrance that it leaves behind as well! The only con is the price! It's quite heavy on the pocket, but you save on cotton and acetone for quite sometime!(SA at the  counter claims it will last a year or more!Let's see!) Another worthy mention is that it does remove glitter nail paint quite nicely!( less effort than otherwise)

What I like:
1. Effectively removes nail paint
2. Acetone free.
3.Amazing fragrance.
4.Almond oil is nourishing
5. Amazing Concept! Saves a lot of time!

What I don't like:
1. Very pricey.
2.Glitter particles tend to adhere to the sponge while removal ing glitter!

Overall: 4.5/5 Go ahead, buy it!

AS MENTIONED EARLER I LOVE ,LOVE NAIL PAINTS SO I LOVE COLLECTING ALL SHADES OF RED! INFACT I HAVE TWO SHADES OF RED FROM THE MAYBELLINE COLOR SHOW RANGE! THEY ARE:

215 KEEP UP THE FLAME( FIERY RED NAIL PAINT, BRIGHT POP COLOUR)

216 DOWNTOWN RED ( MAROONISH RED NAIL COLOUR) 

NOTES: 1.SINCE I WAS TEAMING UP A GOLD GLITTER POLISH, I DECIDED TO GO WITH DOWNTOWN RED, SINCE ITS A DARKER SHADE!(SHOWN BELOW)

2. THIS CAN BE MODIFIED ACCORDING TO THE OCCASION i.e. SILVER GLITTER WITH BABY PINK FOR OFFICE, A CORAL SHADE WITH GOLDEN GLITTER FOR PARTIES AND OFCOURSE, THIS MAROON ONE DOES MAXIMUM JUSTICE CAN BE WORN TO MARRIAGES!

So today I am reviewing one of my favourite polishes in my stash! Its called ZOYA in the shade RENEE.

Few weeks back I had reviewed MY ENVY BOX (see review here:http://stylesaysit.blogspot.com/2014/04/now-unveiling-my-envy-box-april-2014.html) and because I had taken a one month subscription,  I had earned points! Each point is equivalent to one rupee! ( That is soo cool!:D) So I used those points to purchase a new nail paint ( Ofcourse, because I love polishes! :P)

SHADE DESCRIPTION: BRIGHT NEON PINK WITH UNDERTONES OF RED. NEON IS NOT OVERPOWERING.

MY EXPERIENCE:  I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS SHADE! TO START OF WITH, LET ME TELL YOU ALL THAT IT IS NOT AS STRIKINGLY NEON AS IT LOOKS IN THE IMAGES! IT IS A LITTLE MORE TOWARDS THE PINK SHADE! OKAY, SO  IT LOOKS DIFFERENT ON DIFFERENT SKIN TONES! ON FAIR SKIN TONES, IT SHOWES UP MORE BRIGHTLY! I HAVE WHEATISH SKIN, BUT THIS SHADE DOES NOT WASH OUT MY SKIN TONE  INFACT IT MAKES IT LOOK BETTER! THE DRYING IS SUPER SUPER FAST( ONE OF THE FASTEST RATHER) AND APPLICATION IS NOT STREAKY. THE WEAR TIME IS WHAT I ADORE! IT LASTS FOR ALMOST 6-7 DAYS WITHOUT CHIPPING MUCH.

PROS:
1. BEAUTIFUL SHADE.
2. DRIES FAST.
3.LONG LASTING MATTE FINISH.

CONS:
1.LOOKS DIFFERENT ON DIFFERENT SKIN TONES! CAN WASH OUT DARKER SKIN TONES.
2.PRICEY

DUPE OF THIS SHADE: COLORBAR PINK LADY IS A SIMILAR SHADE, BUT NOT ANYWHERE CLOSE IN THE QUALITY!

RECOMMENDED? TOTALLY!

ALL THAT GLITTERS! NAIL ART TUTORIAL#1

Hola fashionistas!

We all want FAB looking nails within no time! Okay so let me tell you all that I have done a certificate course from a celebrity nail  art technician! So I thought why not share few nail art tutorials and tips with you guys? (Yeah I know, it needs patience to do up your nails, but dont we feel its all worth it at the end of it?)
Okay so to start with i would like to tell you ll that for my brothers wedding( I know how we all drool over destination weddings) which was held in Udaipur( Wait, did you all just connect it with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani? so did I!:P) I had got gels polish done!

Well, SUCH A WASTE! I got peach and glitter done!( It cracked within a few hours!) so I decided to replicate the same using my polishes

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:    SILVER GLITTER POLISH, A PEACH OR SHELL POLISH( YOU CAN USE A FRENCH MANICURE BASE POLISH) , A FILER, LOTS OF COTTON AND ACETONE!( WELL, ITS HUMAN TO MAKE MISTAKES, RIGHT?! :P )
WHAT I HAVE USED: INGLOT NAIL POLISH IN SHADE 201( PRICE: INR 490)

  REVLON COLORSTAY POLISH IN SHADE SHELL( PRICE: INR 290)

  SUPER CUTE NAIL FILER FROM CLAIRES( INR 100)

( P.S: SINCE I LOVE, LOVE NAIL PAINTS I HAVE A COLLECTION OF POLISHES ON A SLIGHTLY HIGHER RANGE, YOU CAN OPT FOR CHEAPER AND POCKET FRIENDLY VERSIONS!)

LETS START!

STEP 1: START OFF WITH FILING YOUR NAILS IN DESIRED SHAPE.( YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU ARE LACK OF TIME)

STEP 2: APPLY TWO COATS OF THE PEACH( SHELL) POLISH THAT YOU ARE USING ON ALL YOUR FINGERS EXCEPT THE RING FINGER.

 STEP 3: PAINT YOUR RING FINGERS WITH THE SILVER GLITTER POLISH THAT YOU HAVE USED.

STEP 4: PAINT THE REMAINING FINGER TIPS WITH THE SAME SILVER GLITTER POLISH THAT YOU HAVE USED!

STEP 5: SEAL YOUR DESIGN WITH TOP COAT!( YOU CAN SKIP THIS STEP!)

YAY! AND THATS IT! YOU HAVE FABULOUS ALL GLITTER NAILS WITHIN NO TIME!
